The Reddie Surveys Story
M.J. Reddie Surveys is a family run licensed land surveying firm. We pride ourselves on our reliable land survey and development solutions for all your property needs. Our mission is to provide accurate and efficient land measurement services, and help our clients achieve the potential their land can offer them through subdivision and additional services.
Founded by Michael Reddie in 1985, M.J. Reddie Surveys has slowly grown into a team of professionals offering services in land surveying, property development, town planning and engineering. Michael now has over 45 years of experience in this industry and passed on the business to his son Luke Reddie in 2015. Both Michael and Luke have maintained the family business feeling and the great level of service that M.J. Reddie Surveys has been able to offer clients for over thirty-five years.
Predominately based in the South Eastern Suburbs and Gippsland areas, but servicing Melbourne wide also, we utilise the most up-to-date technology with proven land surveying techniques. Our processes provides solutions to all your property needs and we can offer a start – end project management solution for your building and construction needs. Whether you are looking to survey your backyard, solve a fencing dispute, or even plan a large multi-lot development, no job is too great or small for our experienced team.

Luke Reddie
Owner of M.J. Reddie Surveys
Successfully graduating with a Bachelor of Geomatic Engineering (Honours) and a Bachelor of Planning and Design Luke is the current owner of M.J. Reddie Surveys. He has been a licensed land surveyor since 2008.
Michael Reddie
Licensed Surveyor since 1977
M.J. Reddie Surveys P/L was owned and managed by Michael Reddie who now has over 45 years’ experience in the land surveying industry.
Where We Work
As a licensed land surveyor in Melbourne, our team is predominantly based in South East Melbourne. Areas we commonly service include Inverloch, Beaconsfield, Berwick and spanning to inner city Melbourne. M.J. Reddie Surveys also travel far and wide and work with clients located in Greater Victoria on land surveying and development projects. We are proud to have serviced over 2000 clients in Victoria and are passionate about working on many more projects across the state.
MELBOURNE
M.J. Reddie Surveys have serviced clients throughout all of Melbourne. We understand the process of working with councils throughout Melbourne and the experience and knowledge we have built assures our excellence as land surveyors within the Melbourne area.

CITY OF CASEY
M.J. Reddie Surveys head office is located in Harkaway and works closely with the City of Casey Council to ensure their clients are abiding by council regulations. These projects range from new home developments, to subdivision. We have also worked on town planning for City of Casey Council. The combination of these experiences have added to our expertise as land surveyors in this area.

M.J. Reddie Surveys’ has had many jobs for clients in Beaconsfield and surrounding suburbs which has given us extended knowledge of the area. Having previously worked with the Cardinia Shire Council, M.J. Reddie Surveys complete surveys according to the Council’s standards.
We have worked on projects across:
INVERLOCH AND SOUTH GIPPSLAND
Our team of land surveyors in South East Melbourne go beyond the metro region to Inverloch and South Gippsland. We have done subdivision, title surveying and permit management in these areas ensuring these projects met Bass Coast Shire Council’s requirements. We also have a separate office in Inverloch.
GREATER VICTORIA
M.J. Reddie Surveys have travelled far and wide across Victoria to provide their expertise and knowledge to clients. We enjoy working with our clients across Victoria for all their new developments.
